KEG branding – Strong brand, strong KEG design

Display your brand prominently and individually on your KEG. Numerous branding processes enable you give your stainless steel KEG a personal design, whether you prefer an elegant touch or a striking eye-catcher. Your KEG can be completely coated in foamed polyurethane of any corporate colour you choose. Alternatively, coloured top and bottom rings of polypropylene can also highlight your corporate design. And even the classical stainless steel KEG has enormous branding potential. Subdued or flamboyant labelling, printing processes or signatures complete the image of your reusable KEG. Whatever type you choose, all-steel, fully or partly coated or with PP rings; make use of your KEG to strengthen your brand.

Why KEG branding?

  • For positioning your brand
  • Increasing your brand recognition
  • Standing apart from your competitors
  • Creating confidence and trust
  • Pushing your brand statement
  • Identifying your property

In-mould coating

In-mould coating involves a paint being applied to a mould as a coloured stripe or a logo. Polyurethane (PU), which is then injected into the so-called foaming mould at high pressure, forms a highly stable, scratch-resistant bond with the paint.

Applications area:

  • Neck and base
  • KEG body

Available for these KEGs:

  • PLUS KEG
  • Party-KEG

In-mould labelling for coated KEGs

For in-mould labelling, a carrier film with any desired logo is placed into a KEG mould. After the so-called foaming process, the foil is removed from the KEG and the motif has bonded with the foam.

Application areas

  • Neck and base
  • KEG body

Available for these KEGs

  • PLUS KEG
  • Party-KEG

In-mould labelling for polypropylene rings

For in-mould labelling on the polypropylene top ring, the motif is placed into an injection mould. During the injection moulding process, the carrier foil and the polypropylene bond together firmly.

Application areas / KEG types

  • ECO KEG top ring

Electro-chemical signature

For the electro-chemical signature, a logo is applied to the stainless steel KEG surface by means of an electrolyte solution and electric current.

Labelling

In this process, a carrier foil is applied to the KEG body using a combination of lacquer and adhesive. When the foil is peeled off, the motif is firmly affixed to the KEG.

Embossing on stainless steel

Embossing involves a motif in the form of an offset being stamped into the stainless steel KEG surface. The imprint on the KEG can be up to 0.5 mm deep. On the internal surface of the KEG, the motif sunken and on the external surface it is raised, creating a kind of relief structure.

Application areas / KEG types

  • SUDEX stainless steel KEG top and bottom rings

Embossing on polyurethane

An embossment is a raised pattern applied to the KEG in the neck area. Using a sunken mould, a logo or a text is incorporated into the KEG surface while the KEG body is being coated. Embossments are possible up to a height of 0.3 mm.

Application areas

  • Neck area (KEG upper section)

Available for these KEGs

  • PLUS KEG (also partly coated)
  • Party-KEG

Embossing on polypropylene

An embossment is a raised pattern applied to the KEG’s polypropylene ring. Using a sunken mould, a logo or a text is incorporated into the KEG surface while the KEG body is being coated. Embossments are possible up to a height of 0.3 mm.

Application areas / KEG types

  • ECO KEG top ring

Engraving

The engraving appears as a fine, linear imprint of up to 0.2 mm on the KEG’s external surface. The KEG’S internal side is not affected. This method is especially good for displaying intricate texts in small or delicate formats.

Application areas

  • Neck and base
  • Top and bottom rings

Available for these KEGs

  • SUDEX stainless steel KEG

Laser printing

In laser printing, a text or identification is applied to the KEG’s stainless steel surface by means of a laser.

Application areas

  • Neck and base

Available for these KEGs

  • ECO KEG
  • SUDEX stainless steel KEG
  • freshKEG
