New Award in recognition of bars, breweries and restaurants actively using the benefits of returnable kegs

The Steel Keg Association, a non-profit marketing organisation dedicated to increasing sales of beer and other beverages served from stainless steel kegs, has launched the KEG Champion Awards. This new awards programme aims to highlight sustainability-minded hospitality businesses. These businesses can now be nominated for an award. The Steel Keg Association's (SKA) first KEG Champion Awards will recognise US breweries, bars and restaurants of all sizes that have incorporated reusable kegs and all the benefits that go with them into their supply programme. The reusability of stainless steel kegs and their long service life of over 30 years make them the ideal sustainable solution for the hospitality sector. SCHÄFER Container Systems is one of the founding members of the SKA.
