ECO KEG
Lightweight KEG with top and bottom rings

The ECO KEG consists of a 100 % stainless steel liner with robust top and bottom rings made of polypropylene (PP).
They are fixed to the steel body using a clip-on technique and can be exchanged as required.

 

Coloured rings with a shock absorber effect and an extremely light weight make the ECO KEG an ideal container for beer, wine, soft drinks and water. Various branding possibilities round off this iF award-winning design.

Using a nitrogen mixture enables wine to be filled, stored and transported in KEGs. When dispensed, the wine is not carbonised.

What does Euro, DIN, Slim-line and US mean?

Euro, DIN, Slim-line and US are types of diameter. They are industrial standards for reusable beverage containers.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The lowest number of ECO KEGs you can order is 1.

Can I use a Bavarian bung system?

ECO KEGs cannot be used with a Bavarian bung system. The Bavarian bung can only be used with fully coated KEGs, such as the PLUS KEG.

How long can I use a KEG?

If used properly, a KEG has a service life of over 20 years.

Can ECO KEGs be recycled?

The KEG is 100 % recyclable. Both the polypropylene rings and the high-grade stainless steel can be recycled to 100 % without any loss in quality and reused.
We will be happy to take back any KEGs that can no longer be used and advise you on whether recycling is necessary or whether you can have your KEG reworked and so continue using it.
