PU coating

Protective coating with function - polyurethane for returnable KEGs

The PU coating is an outer shell made of polyurethane that completely or partially encloses the stainless steel body of a reusable KEG. It serves as a shock-absorbing, protective layer and at the same time improves handling. PU is used as a robust, durable material, particularly in the beverage sector - as is the case with PLUS KEGs from Schäfer Container Systems.

In the PLUS KEG product system from SCHÄFER Container Systems, the PU coating contributes significantly to the durability of the container. It not only protects the stainless steel bladder, but also offers PU colouring or the application of lettering/logos both on the advertising space and in the sleeve area.
