The foot ring prevents the KEG body from resting directly on the floor, which reduces mechanical stress on the stainless steel housing. At the same time, it stabilises the KEG during stacking and storage - an advantage in logistics that should not be underestimated. It also protects neighbouring surfaces and equipment from damage.
